SY Silene on the Way to Islay
My Norwegian is very limited, so I can't read everything they write on their blog. Assuming I understand the website correctly Jørn and Eli from Bergen in Norway have just left to circumnavigate the world in their Sailing Yacht Silene. I think they left Norway on the 1st of July and arrived in Scotland a few days later.
This week they arrived in Oban and were planning to sail to Port Ellen on Islay today:
Planlegger aa seile til Port Ellen syd paa oeya Islay i morgen. Det er heldigvis meldt dreining til vest, saa vi krysser fingrene for at motor-foeret er over.
