Bruichladdich Whisky Academy

For a lot of people the main interest on Islay are the famous Islay Single Malt whiskies. For most the distillery tours are sufficient, some would like to learn more about the whisky making process. Some of those attend the The Bruichladdich Academy. Even better, some share their experiences:

Linda Murfin is a travel planner from Akron, Ohio in the United States. In September she visited Scotland with her husband Don, a birthday present for him. She has blogged about the visit to Islay and in particular the whisky academy with a few pictures:

Sven Hirsch wrote about his experience at the Bruichladdich Academy in June 2004. Ho-cheng Yao from Taiwan attended in May 2004 and wrote a diary of his week at the Laddie Academy. Kevin at The Scotch Blog asks Going to the Academy. Wanna Come?, but it doesn't look like he blogged about his experience. He has blogged about A visit to the Laddie though.

An unidentified Single Malt Enthusiast has written up his experiences for Ron on his blog, you can read them at The whereabouts of a Whisky enthusiast.

That should be enough links for now...
