Port Ellen Panorama
Two weeks ago I kicked off the 2007 blogging season on IslayBlog.com with a picture of an arrival on Islay. I've now taken this a bit further and created another panorama of the view over Port Ellen from the ferry arriving from Kennacraig:
You can't really see that much on the small version shown above, but help is at hand: The latest addition to my 180° QuickTime VR panoramas from Islay is a panoramic view over Port Ellen from the ferry arriving on Islay from Kennacraig. I managed to take the pictures for this panorama when arriving in August 2006, during the short time where the ferry is almost stationary while starting to turn around before landing.
I hope you enjoy the panorama as much as I enjoyed preparing it. Expect further panoramas over the coming weeks, I've got ‘raw materials’ for quite a few more panoramas from Islay. Watch this space...
