Islay Birding Receives Five-Star Award
While I haven't been on one of his tours yet I have met Jeremy Hastings during my visits to Islay. He is a very friendly and knowledgeable man, so it is great news that Islay Birding has just earned a top award for tourism. VisitScotland announced yesterday:
A bird watching trip on one of Scotland’s most beautiful islands has been named the UK’s first ever five star wildlife experience.
Islay Birding is among 22 nature-based operators who have been given a star award under VisitScotland’s new Wildlife Experience Quality Assurance Scheme.
I'm planning to take my parents to Islay later this year, I hope we can go on one of Jeremy's tours then. Until then congratulations to him (by the way, he also runs Islay Bushcraft) and his family!
