I'd rather be on Islay T-Shirt
Over the last two days I've mentioned a new t-shirt I've added to Armin's Little Islay Shop (see also shop at spreadshirt.net), so I thought I better give it some more publicity and own entry here at the blog. It is a t-shirt for those of us who are currently not on Islay, but would rather like to be there. That's why the text on the t-shirt reads ‘I'd rather be on Islay’.
It's a fairly simple design, just the text ‘I'd rather be on Islay’ and the outline of Islay next to it. As with several of my other designs I've used the stencil font for the word ‘Islay’ to remind of the lettering on the whisky casks:
Some of the detail of the outline of Islay gets lost during the printing process, but it still looks very nice. At least I think so. I'm going to wear mine today, if I get a chance I'll try to take a picture of me wearing it and post it later.
For the time being the t-shirt is only available in blue with the design printed in white, but I'm considering other colour combinations. Suggestions and requests are very welcome, please leave your wishes in the comments. I'm also working on a bumper sticker version of the design, but more about that some other time.
