Education Unconference on Islay
Unfortunately Ian Stuart's Islay ICT blog has been fairly quiet recently, I think he's more active on Twitter under IslayIan at the moment. Either way, Ian has been very active over the last few months to keep Islay High School, ICT and the future of education moving forward. He's now planning far ahead as well:
Through John Connell asking Best place to hold an education unconference…? I've recently found that Ian is organising an unconference on Islay in June 2009. It will be the Education2020 UNCONFERENCE, trying to answer the question ‘2020 Vision: What should education look like in the year 2020?’
If you're a teacher or otherwise interested in education you might want to mark the 12th of June 2009 in your calendar and consider attending. That's a Friday and assuming the 2009 Islay Beach Rugby tournament also takes place on the second Saturday in June you can watch it the next day. Just like this year: Islay High School and Islay Rugby.
