Friday Islay Picture #99 - Cliffs at the Sound of Islay
That's a very busy week over. It's Friday evening, Im enjoying a pint of real ale, winding down after a long week. The end of the working week as usual is marked by the Friday Islay picture. It's fairly windy on Islay at the moment, there was a quite brisk wind when I took this picture of the cliffs along the Sound of Islay as well:
This is one of my favourite parts of Islay's coastline, the steep cliffs and hills around McArthur's Head with the famous lighthouse. As usual I will post a larger version (larger as in more than twice as big) on the Islay Pictures photoblog on Saturday morning.
Now I've got a week to pick the next picture, hopefully I'll be able to find a suitable Islay picture for the milestone I'm going to reach next week. In case you haven't noticed, this is the 99th Friday Islay picture, meaning I'll reach the 100 next week.
