Friday Islay Picture #140 - Walking Week Regulars
Having written about the Islay walking week twice this week, first the Islay Walking Week Preview and then the WalkIslay 2010 Illustrated Programme, I thought I might as well finish the (working) week with a related picture. When I first picked the picture I hadn't realised it, but when I looked again I realised all of the walkers are what I would consider as regulars:
Two of the walkers here live on Islay but join the walks regularly, often with their husbands. The other two are regular visitors like me, having covered quite a few miles on Islay over the years.
I took the picture on a walk from Ardnave to Sanaigmore in 2009. While I can't place it exactly I think it was somewhere in the Eilean Nòstaig or Traigh Nòstaig area, looking at the previous and following pictures in the sequence.
