Friday Islay Picture #151 - Footsteps in Machir Bay

Friday Islay Picture in stencil

After last week's uncertainty who would form the new government we did get one this week. In a way good news for Islay's neighbour Jura, as David Cameron apparently likes Isle of Jura single malt whisky. But more about that some other time, as this evening is reserved for the Friday Islay picture, not the Friday Jura picture. Not sure when I last had a picture of Machir Bay, so here's one for today:

Picture of footsteps on a beach, a wreck and coastal hills in the background

Yes, those are my footsteps. They are from my running shoes, as this is where I often go jogging when I'm on Islay. Took this on a brilliant morning in April this year.

As usual I will post the larger version of the picture (larger as in more than twice as big, as regular readers will know) on the Islay Pictures photoblog on Saturday morning. Until then, have a great weekend! Good night from me with a wee dram of, no, not Isle of Jura (sorry, guys), but my trusted Laphroaig Quarter Cask.
