With a Dinghy to Jura's Top Pool
![Does exactly what it says on the label: This post is about an Isle of Jura topic Jura Excursions written in stencil](../images/jura-excursions.gif)
While many of you will have watched 22 men chasing a ball (and that four times) yesterday and today, some of you might prefer watching something different. So I'm going to show you a video of an interesting journey on Islay's neighbour Jura, by dinghy to the top pool on Loch Tarbert:

Earlier this year during the Jura walk of the Islay walking week we had a great view of the whole loch from the hills to the south of it (the preview below is rather small, here is a much larger version of the panorama of Loch Tarbert on Jura:
![Jura's Loch Tarbert seen from the south. The Top Pool on the right. Picture of a panoramic view over a long sea loch](../2010images/20100703-jura-loch-tarbert-pano-small.jpg)
The Top Pool is on the right, the tidal channel they travel through in the centre and the inner loch of Loch Tarbert towards the left. I hope you find it interesting to see it from both perspectives.
