Motorbike Journey to Kilchoman Distillery, Islay

Islay on Video written in stencil

Three guys on motorbikes on a tour around five distilleries in all corners of Scotland, one of them on Islay. Tom Morton, Rob Allanson and Ken Hamilton drop into Kilchoman distillery during their whirlwind tour of Islay, which comes up in parts 2 and 3 of the ‘Journey's Blend’ series by SingleMaltTv:

The third part (second part of the Islay section) sees them visiting Kilchoman cemetery next to the ruin of the church before driving back the route along Loch Fyne familiar to many:

As of writing this only parts 1-3 are online (Journey's Blend Day - 1 of 5), I guess the remaining parts might show up later on the SingleMaltTv YouTube channel. There is also a blog about the project, not surprisingly it is called Journey's Blend. In it you'll find more pictures, thoughts, memories and others from the project.

And now of course I'm going to pour myself a wee dram of the Kilchoman Spring 2010 Release…
