Friday Islay Picture #169 - Barnacle Geese in Flight
That's a very long and exhausting week finally over. Time to relax and recharge the batteries. Of course the weekend doesn't really start until I've posted the Friday Islay picture, so I better get on with it. Last week I had the picture of a Song Thrush, so I thought I continue with the birds on Islay theme:
Those are of course Barnacle Geese, lifting off from Loch Indaal in the autumn light. This picture is from 2007, my first visit to Islay in October. I'm hoping for many similar views when I go back in two weeks.
As usual I will post a larger version of the picture on the Islay Pictures photoblog on Saturday morning. Now it's time for some Islay single malt whisky, the Bruichladdich PC 8 is what I'm allowing myself this evening.
