Another Islay Whisky Collector Website - Bowmore

Islay Whisky News & Links in stencil

Those of you interested in Islay single malt whisky quite likely will be aware of some of the collector websites out there: The Laphroaig Collector has been around for a number of years, the Laddiecollector is relatively new (also an honourable mention for the Ardbeg Project, although technically it's not a collector as such). Recently I came across another Islay whisky collector site, which somehow had managed to escape my attention for much too long:

The site in question is obviously The Bowmore Collector (Mister Bowmore - The Belgian Bowmore Collector). The man behind it is Gino De Buck, you can read more about him and how he got into collecting Bowmore whisky on his About Me page.

Of course the main feature on the site is Gino's Bowmore collection. This not only includes bottles, there's also an impressive collection of water jugs. I hadn't realised there were so many different ones! But there's also a lot of other Bowmore information, like the Bowmore Archive in the photogallery. Quite a few interesting pictures in there, some of which I hadn't seen before.

I hope you've enjoyed Gino's Bowmore collection, I'll have to do a bit more digging to see what other Islay whisky collector websites are out there. A quick search already brought up a Lagavulin collector site, although as of writing this it is still in the very early stages. If you know of any sites you think I should visit/mention by all means let me know.
