Graham Macfarlane's Islay Pictures

Islay Pictures in stencil

On Friday the Scotland In The Gloaming blog (which as the name indicates posts pictures of Scotland in the gloaming/twilight) posted a picture of Bunnahabhain Pier, Isle of Islay. It was widely spread on Twitter and Facebook and admired by many. All the pictures on the blog are sourced from flickr and provide a link to the photographers flickr account, so I thought I'll take a look if he has any other Islay pictures:

Yes, he does.

They need a bit of hunting as they are in different places, but there are several on graham macfarlane photography's flickr account. Some can be found under the isleofislay tag, a few more are under the islay tag. There are also a few from Islay's neighbours, like this one of Kiloran Bay on Colonsay and Paps of Jura from Isle of Islay. But back to his Islay pictures:

Not all of his pictures are in a style I like, but there are still enough I'm happy to point out: Port Charlotte Hall is a clever idea and the clouds look very nice. Saligo is also very nice, it reminds me of a similar picture I've taken, one of my favourites. Loch Indaal is just very calm.

Graham also runs a website, you can find more of his pictures on Scotlandscapes | Graham Macfarlane Photography. The Isles gallery contains a few from Islay as well.
