Gordon's Islay Distillery Pictures
You can never have enough Islay pictures. Therefore you can also never have enough Islay distillery pictures. At least I think logic would dictate that. Therefore it's nice to come across a new flickr account with Islay pictures, in particular of the distilleries:
The pictures are from a set Islay Distillery Photos, which seems to cover several Islay visits. Together with a set Islay Landscapes they can be found in Gordon_H61's photostream. And just as I'm writing this a thought occured to me: I think I might well know which Gordon this is. If it is the one I suspect I hope I'll hear from him.
Anyway, back to the pictures: Laphroaig Distillery 2 and Lagavulin Distillery 2 are nice shots from either the ferry or another boat (the Lagavulin one seems to be from a rather low position?). I'm almost certain Ardbeg Distillery 1 is from a small boat. The Distillery cat is also nice, not only because it allows me to link to ‘cat content’ (in case you don't know, ‘cat content’ is important for bloggers. Every blog needs to have cat content occasionally. It's the law.). Of course there's also the great view of the Caol Ila stills and the Paps of Jura.
