Friday Islay Picture #240 - Beaches at Bholsa

Friday Islay Picture in stencil

And another working week comes to an end. Let the weekend begin. If you happen to be near Dumbarton this weekend, the now Kilchoman distillery sponsored Islay Pipe Band is competing in the Scottish Pipe Band Championships on Saturday. They would love your support, they will be playing at 16:50 at Levengrove Park, Dumbarton. If you can't make it you can look at pictures from the far north of Islay instead:

Picture of beaches and raised beaches on a northern coast

Similar to last week I had another themed week on the Islay Pictures photoblog, focusing on the far north coast with pictures of walkers under a natural arch near Bholsa caves and arriving at the big caves at Bholsa. In addition I had the new Islay panorama of the northern shore near Bholsa. This picture will be the final one in the series, showing the beaches near Mala Bholsa, both raised and ‘newly’ eroded.

Have a great weekend!
