Friday Islay Picture #272 - Fiery Clouds at Saligo Bay
Here we go again, it's time for the Friday Islay picture. Meaning it's also the weekend. Last weekend was rather wet, at least for me. It looks like it might stay dry in West Berkshire for the weekend, may be even some nice sunshine at times. Unlike the picture I've picked for today, which shows some heavy clouds moving in, hiding the sunset at Saligo Bay. Still, I got some fiery and dramatic clouds out of it:
This was at Saligo Bay in November 2012, the clouds moving in front of the setting sun creating some quite dramatic colours. I'm not sure if these clouds also brought rain, I think they probably did later in the evening.
As usual I will post the larger version on the Islay Pictures photoblog on Saturday morning, for those of you who would like to see it in bigger. For now it's time for a wee dram, have a great weekend!
