The Paps of Jura in day out from Glasgow
![Does exactly what it says on the label: This post is about an Isle of Jura topic Jura Excursions written in stencil](../images/jura-excursions.gif)
It's not something I would recommend (unless you only have a single day) as of course I think you should stay on Islay and Jura much longer. But if you only have a (very long) day from Glasgow what these guys did looks very nice:
If you are fit enough to climb at least one of the Paps of Jura I can only recommend doing it, the views on a good day are just amazing. All three are worth it, for the best views of Islay of course the two Islay facing ones Beinn an Oir (which is the highest) and Beinn a'Chaolais (the lowest, but also closest to the ferry). Regardless of which one you climb, the well earned after climb pint at the Port Askaig Hotel will taste fantastic.
