New Islay panorama, Gartbreck Farm/Distillery

While large parts of last week's Islay visit were of course dedicated to the walks of the Islay walking week I did manage to find time for a few extracurricular activities. One of them was a visit to the site of the planned 9th distillery on Islay, Gartbreck distillery. There isn't much to see yet, but I did take the pictures for a panorama of the site, Gartbreck Farm:

The picture above is of course just the (as usual) far too small preview, for the real thing go to my Islay Distillery Panoramas collection for the panoramic view of Gartbreck Farm on the shore of Loch Indaal (Quicktime required, 9MB download for the panorama). It should give you a good idea of the location of the farm/future distillery on the shore of Loch Indaal.

Once the distillery is fully built I'll try to find the spot where I took the pictures again for a like for like comparison. It should be quite interesting to compare the before and after views.
