Paraglider flight over Islay

Islay on Video written in stencil

Something a bit special today. When I was on Islay in June (I think it was on the day I flew my quadcopter at Port Ellen) a friend told me about a Hungarian paraglider he had watched a few weeks earlier. He had a converted hearse as a car, with the propeller carried on a special rack at the back. He had watched him flying in the Port Ellen area. You have probably guessed it already, today I've found a video from that flight:

Tamás Dóka takes us along the south coast with great views over the three southern distilleries Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg, over Port Ellen as well as Kilnaughton Bay and parts of the Oa. I must admit some of it looked a bit scary to me, I think I'll just stick to my quadcopter. Still, some of the views are amazing and I'm very grateful he's sharing them with us. I hope you enjoyed them as well.

Opening up the discussion. Have your say:
