Friday Islay Picture #374 - Islay Sessions Panorama
That's a rather busy week finally coming to an end. Just enjoyed Wild Boar sausages, beans and homemade bread with some Cornish pale ale. Will pour some good Islay single malt whisky shortly. It's also time for another Friday Islay picture, although it's fairly small as it is a panorama. Following on from yesterday's post about the upcoming Islay Sessions it's an impression from last year's edition:
This was in the bar of the Port Charlotte Hotel on the Sunday evening. An amazing experience. A dozen or so musicians were present, dipping in an out, playing together in varying strengths, from just two or three to all of them playing. One beautiful tune after the other.
I'll post a larger version of the picture on the Islay Pictures photoblog on Saturday morning as usual. I'm going to enjoy my whisky now and wish a you a good night and a great weekend!
