The Scent of Islay?

May be not to everyones taste, but some people might like the smell (or in this case more the scent) of malt whisky on their partner. Without their partner having to drink it, that is. Help is at hand:

Later in 2006 you should be able to buy "Spirit of Scotland", a malt whisky scent developed by George Dodds, a biochemist. It won't contain any Islay Single Malts, but is supposed to smell like one:

Although the perfume contains no whisky, the blend of ingredients is chosen to recreate the traditional smoky and peaty smells of island malts such as Talisker and Laphroaig.

I'm not sure what to think of it, I think I prefer to nose a real whisky (and drink it) rather than smelling it on a partner. And it's not a scent of Islay anyway, just a scent of whisky. Islay smells different, at least to me.
