Islay Seen From Ireland

On a clear day you can see quite far from Islay and Jura. Views can include the Isle of Arran as well as Northern Ireland. But how does it look from the other side? How do Islay and Jura look from the distance?

Back in 2004 I've enjoyed the view from Goatfell over to the Paps of Jura (also try the Quicktime VR panorama of the view west from Goatfell for a better view). But I've never been to Ireland (apart from a short business trip to Dublin a few years ago). Someone else was so nice to show me how it looks from Larne in Antrim:

Paul Evans' main hobby seems to be astronomy (and the photography of it, some great pictures on his blog). But last night he posted a fantastic panorama of the North Channel at Dusk. You need to click on the link to the image to view. Thanks for sharing this view, Paul!
