Killinallan Point Beach Panorama, Islay

While it was sunny up north in the Outer Hebrides (and from what I've seen on the Bruichladdich Webcams it was mostly sunny on Islay as well) it was pouring it down with rain down here in the south. So what did I do to cheer me up on such a miserable day? Remind myself of a beautiful sunny day on Islay and work on some panoramas for the Islay Walking Week 2007 travelogue:

Picture of a beach under a clear blue sky with bright sunshine

I spent a couple of hours yesterday working my way through 18 panoramas I took on the day, for the moment one made it online as a Quicktime VR panorama. The Killinallan Point and Traigh Baile Aonghais beach panorama gives a nice view of this more than 2 miles long beach. And for good measure you also get Nave Island, Oronsay and Colonsay thrown into the panorama. Not to forget the almost perfectly clear blue sky and the brilliant sunshine.

What more could you ask for?
