Islay on Radio Scotland Alert

If you were waiting for an entry yesterday my apologies. I was out walking in Wales and when I arrived back home it was too late and I was too tired to blog. A quick post this Bank Holiday Monday morning with a heads up of some Islay history coming up on Radio Scotland:

On Wednesday 29/Aug/2007 George Robertson will present a programme about the HMS Otranto & HMS Tuscania on BBC Radio Scotland:

11:30 When the Boats Went Down
An Islay Story: Former head of NATO George Robinson tells the story of the wreck of the American troop carriers Otranto and Tuscania off the coast of his native Islay.

I believe it should be possible to listen to the programme online whereever you are, just use the ‘Listen Live’ link on the BBC Radio Scotland website. I'm also hoping that it will be available on the ‘Listen Again’ page at some point for those not able to tune in on Wednesday 29/Aug/2007 at 11:30 BST.
