Islay Travelogue Progress

Picture of a sunset over a low hill near a bay on Islay

Last Saturday I mentioned two Islay panoramas I had just completed as well as a third one I was just working on. I had hoped to provide the next update earlier this week, but in the end only managed to make some good progress on the Two weeks on Islay in June 2007 travelogue today. Here's where I stand this evening:

To start with the 180° Quicktime VR panorama of the view over Kilchoman Beach and Machir Bay at sunset on the Isle of Islay is now complete. I think this is going to be one of my favourite Islay panoramas, the light was just wonderful and it was just so calm and relaxing that evening.

Linked to that I've kicked off the Kilchoman Sunset page, I hope to complete this page very soon. There's quite a bit to see already, so it shouldn't take me too long.

And prior to that I've finally completed the Kilchoman Crags Walk page from a wonderful walk on a brilliant sunny day. The two panoramas mentioned in the entry from last Saturday are now linked on it as well, as they were from that walk.

I hope you enjoy them. I'm off to bed, looking at the sunset pictures made me tired.
