Another Flight to Islay

When I posted the two videos of the Islay Airport Approaches earlier this week Josh ‘complained’ that I was ‘missing the best! Coming from Glasgow you're flying around the south coast, the distilleries of Ardbeg, Lagavulin and Laphoaig clearly visible on a bright day, then Port Ellen harbour [..]’. So I decided to catch up on that today with another flight to Islay. This one:

Still not fully what Josh described in his comment, but you do get some fantastic views of the distilleries and of Port Ellen. Probably some of the best you can get on this flight to Islay. Only the view of the Big Strand and Laggan Bay is missing, as this flight lands from the south.

Now I think it's really enough flights to Islay for a while. But then again you never know what's going to show up on YouTube...
