On the Way to Islay: The Crinan Canal
From yesterday's April fools back to some regular content. One of my favourite stops on the way to Islay through Argyll is the Crinan Canal. Even though I now live right at a canal they haven't lost any of their fascination for me. Which leads me to this video with some nice historical background about the Crinan Canal:
I hope to have enough time for stop at the canal during my upcoming journey to Islay for the upcoming Islay Walking Week. One of the things I hope to do is to take a look at the ‘Islay puffer’ Duncan McGillivray has an interest in. Fingers crossed I'll make it.
