Friday Islay Hotel Pictures (#130)
This evening you're going to get three Friday Islay pictures for the price of one. If that isn't value for money I don't know. Earlier today I posted the Waitin' on a Sunny day on Islay Video, this evening three pictures of two men who waited for a sunny day to complete their job, painting the Islay Hotel in Port Ellen:
The work started on a sunny day at the end of November, you can pictures from that day in the Islay Hotel Getting Painted entry. Now let's take a look at how that looks from the other side of Loch Leòdamais:
That looks really nice, I think. Nice contrast between the dark bricks of the Askernish B&B and the white of the hotel. For the third and last picture today let's take a closer look at the almost completed wing:
Different to the usual Friday Islay picture these won't go on to the Islay Pictures photoblog tomorrow morning, it doesn't feel right to put them there. Instead there will be a ‘surprise’ picture tomorrow morning. Until then, have a great weekend and good night!
