Dark Woods on Gigha?
And now for something a bit different. Kind of. Some of you might remember the Portrait of Gigha Island Life video I posted exactly a month ago. As luck wants it I found a related video just today. It isn't another documentary, but more of an experiment. The connection is that it was filmed by David Reed, who was responsible for the sound and design in the first video. Be scared. Or not:

For some background on the video, David writes:
Shot whilst in Scotland filming a documentary, I've played and experimented with some footage and sound to create an atmosphere that location didn't lend itself to.
At least as far as I'm concerned he was quite successful with that, I found the video strangely compelling to watch. I think I need to visit Achamore Gardens in the autumn if I get a chance, looks even more colourful than I had expected. But will I be able to walk through it again without imagining scary sounds and footsteps?
