Cybercafe Islay Needs Help

Islay News in stencil

My first visit to the Islay Cybercafe I believe was over 10 years ago, possibly as early as 1999, almost certainly in 2000. The years have now taken their toll on the building and it is in need of renovation. To fund the necessary work they have applied for a RBS CommunityForce award, which is where they now need some help:

If you are a UK resident (the voting is only open to Great Britain residents aged 16 years or over I'm afraid), could you please vote for the Mactaggart Community CyberCafe? The voting ends on the 23rd of October 2011, so there isn't much time left. You will need to register on the site (and confirm your registration via the e-mail you will receive), otherwise your vote unfortunately won't count.

For further updates you can also check the Cybercafe Islay Facebook page. To get an impression of the doors in question to be replaced take a look at two videos, Front Door and Back Door.

Fingers crossed for the Mactaggart Community Cybercafe Islay!
