Friday Islay Picture #252 - Cliffs around Soldiers Rock
So there we are, it's Friday and the weekend again. While it's been rather horrid on Islay today it's been very nice in West Berkshire and even the forecast looks decent. How much Islay blogging will I get this weekend then? We'll see. Anyway, visitors to my Islay Pictures photoblog will be aware that I've had a Soldier's Rock theme over there this week. As I'm either lazy or efficient (depends on who you ask) I'm again taking that theme over here for this week's Friday Islay picture:
Soldier's Rock of course doesn't stand in isolation, there are some steep cliffs around it. This is a view of the cliffs in the area with Soldier's Rock just left of centre. If you look closely you can spot the Paps of Jura on the horizon just behind it towards the right.
As usual I will post a larger version (larger as in twice as big) on the photoblog on Saturday morning, for those who just can't get enough and would like to see it in bigger. For now though, good night and have a great weekend (hopefully with decent weather)!
