Heads up for the Islay Walking Week 2013
Earlier today I managed to ‘update’ (well, at least slightly) the Walk Islay page on the Visit Islay Jura page. The walks still need to be agreed and details worked out, but for those who need to start planning we now have a date for the Walk Islay walking week 2013:
The 11th Islay walking week will take place Sunday 14th April 2013 to Friday 19th April 2013. One day shorter than in previous years, but I think it will make it fit in better in particular for self-catering visitors, as they usually arrive on the Saturday.
That's all I have for today, I will try to post updates as they become available. I'll also update the countdown as soon as I find a few minutes. I'll leave you with a few images by David Caskie, who joined us on the walk to Bholsa before conquering the Paps of Jura (you can even spot me in his pictures at least once).
