Friday Islay Picture #71
Just because I posted something about the Islay Hotel earlier this evening doesn't mean there won't be a Friday Islay picture this week. On the contrary, I've got the picture right here. When I took it during my last visit to Islay in July I had to stay up fairly late for it, with the nights starting to draw in again you don't have to wait that long any more. Even when you're as far north as Islay:
This is the last picture I took from an evening at Saligo Bay, well after sunset, only the twilight at dusk and the moon providing some light. Not long after this is was dark with only the moon providing some light, I've got some other pictures from that, one of which I think I'll post next Friday.
Now for that name, I'm afraid you'll have to wait a bit longer for the full new name of the former Islay Hotel, partly because I've just heard of some late developments about the name, partly because I'm tired and want to go to bed. Good night for now.
