Musicians Studio on Islay
Islay has quite a few musicians, examples include Fraser Shaw (seen here playing an Irish reel), Rebecca Brown, the Islay Pipe Band and Norma Munro just to name a few. Yesterday I learned of another musician now residing on Islay, simply because he invited the world on to a tour of his Islay home studio:

The musician is Joe Kane, he's originally from Glasgow but now resides on Islay. You can listen to some of his music on his MySpace page (Only) Joe Kane, on YouTube you'll find a homemade video to Day By Day and you can buy/download his album Only Joe Kane at Amazon.
It was quite interesting to spot a few Islay references during his studio tour: He mentioned buying the drum from Re-JIG and you can spot a box from Islay Ales at some point.
Hopefully we'll hear more from him soon, his older songs available online certainly sound promising.
