Early Friday Islay Picture #209 - Islay, Colonsay, Mull
Huh, a Friday Islay picture on a Thursday? How does that work? Well, it's fairly simple: I'll be travelling on Friday evening and won't have the time to post one on Friday. So I thought I'll just pull it in and post it on Thursday evening still to be here on Friday evening. For that you even get three islands in one, so technically it's a Friday Islay, Colonsay and Mull picture:
This is a view from Killinallan Point in June 2010, looking over to Colonsay with Ben More on Mull in the background. I took this picture on a walk from Killinallan to Mala Bholsa (and back) with my sister, an amazing walk in brilliant weather.
My sister is also the reason why I'm travelling tomorrow, as I'm going to visit her (and our father) in Heidelberg, Germany. It will almost certainly be a bit quieter here over the next few days until I'm back in the UK. I might blog once or twice while in Germany, I might not blog at all (at least here, I'm still aiming to have daily posts on the Islay Pictures photoblog if at all possible).
