Friday Islay Picture #293 - Ringed Plover
Another Friday evening (sorry it got a bit late, worked late and then had to do my weekly shopping), another Friday Islay picture. With the British Birdfair now under way and the Islay stand at the fair hopefully getting plenty of visitors I decided to go with a topical picture, kind of. Here's a Ringed Plover at Ardnave:
This was on the Loch Gruinart side of Ardnave on a beautiful June evening this year. Lovely light, great company (my sister) and just generally a wonderful evening. I'll post a larger version of the picture on the Islay Pictures photoblog on Saturday morning.
