More Islay Hotel Demolition Pictures

As promised yesterday I have a few more pictures from the demolition of the Islay Hotel in Port Ellen. These were taken on Friday and show how the part above the old Islay Bar and the adjacent building were being demolished:

At some point the chimney at the corner above the Islay Bar had to go:

I've been told that they managed to save the 1888 plaque I was hoping they would be able to, it should be used in the new building somewhere. A nice touch, I think.
